  • City of Austin Large Brush Collection Begins
    Starts: 12:00 am
    Ends: July 18, 2017 - 12:00 am
    Description: Guidelines:
    -Place large brush at the curb in front of your house by 6:30 a.m. on the first day of your scheduled collection week.
    -Brush should be between 5 and 15 feet in length.
    -Tree trunks more than 8 inches in diameter should be 3-feet-long or less.
    -Cut ends should face the street.
    -Stack loosely along the curb in one row, not more than 15 feet across and no higher than 4 feet.
    -To prevent damage to your property, keep items 5 feet away from your trash cart, mailbox, fences or walls, water meter, telephone connection box and parked cars.
    -Items will not be collected if they are in front of a business or a vacant lot.

    DO NOT:
    -Do not include vines or thorny vegetation.
    -Do not block the sidewalk.
    -Do not extend into the street.
    -Do not place any items under low hanging tree limbs or power lines.

  • Dive In Movie Night (Lilo and Stitch)

    Location: Circle C Swim Center, 5919 La Crosse Avenue, Austin, TX, United States
    Description: Aloha! Join us at the Swim Center on Saturday, July 22nd at dusk to watch Lilo and Stitch! The recreational area in the pool will be open for families to swim while watching the movie! The lap lanes and baby pool will not be open. Guests subject to guest policies and fees. Please remember no glass or alcohol, coolers will be checked upon entry.

    The next Dive In Movie will feature Finding Dory on Saturday August 12th.
